Princess
It’s a Small World.
My favorite ride.
Disney World is where my love resides.
My princess gown, all pretty and blue.
But don’t forget my tiara too.
Curly blonde locks all over the place.
My big goofy smile covers my face.
The teacups go round and round.
My stomach lurches toward the ground.
The sparkle in my eye is as bright as a star.
I am the best princess by far.
Smells fill the air…
Popcorn
And candy.
And sugar.
Colors surround me…
Orange, blue, and green.
Disney World is the only place I’m seen.

This piece is about my favorite childhood vacation. I have always loved Disney World, and a lot of my childhood was spent there. I used this poem as a way to express my past feelings about it, and to show how happy these trips truly made me.
