You can never know what someone is going through

You do not know.

You don't know that they cry themselves to sleep every night in their room begging the dog to stay just so that they won't be alone

You don't know that they found their uncle dead at only six years old after having the best day of their life

You don't know.

You don't know that they were raped on their 8th birthday not able to utter a single world to stop it

You don't know that they have had an abusive and dystfunctional home

You don't know.

You don't know that they are constantly trying to make things better every day

You don't know that their mom and dad are constantly trying to undo the damage done

You don't know.

You don't know that they don't let anyone get close in fear that they are not important but still complain of being lonely

You don't know that they try to make those around them happy in hopes that maybe

just maybe

Some of that hapiness will rub onto them

I just don't know.
