When The Sirens Ring
I walk down the street
Silent and alone
The once lively city
Is now left in stone
It’s been nearly a year since it started
People tried to avoid it
But they only found failure
Because of what they found
I look off into the distance
Waiting to see the sun
For I know as the clock hits 7
The inevitable it to come
The sirens will ring
With an eerie song
Leaving us wondering
Where did we go wrong
