What they didn't tell you

May have been what you needdd to hear.

When they didn't call you,

Maybe you were truly overcome by fear.

When they wouldn't let you,

Be who  you wanted to be, and not care,

About what pepple think,

And what they couldn't bear to see.

"They wouldn't dare be seen with me"

What you dont seem to see

Is that they're much too keen to be. 

"They're always mean to me"

You're so worried that you haven't seen the queen you can be.

My question for you, is

Why does it matter what they think,

Their opinions could make your esteem sink,

They're focused on you that they notice the way you walk, the way you talk, the way you blink.

And what your not understanding, 

Is that your circle is not expanding,

By keeping them around you all the time.

Theyre really only negative, 

Never bring you any benefit. 

So, maybe, just maybe, 

What they didn't tell you

Is what you needed to hear.
