I cared about you, I cared so much
I hated that you wouldn’t keep in touch
We had such a great start, we really connected
I was really in love, you got me infected
I couldn’t get enough, I wanted even more
You were everything that I could ever adore
So when you went silent and left me to myself
I was just an old book, that you left on the shelf
When you came back, I just couldn’t believe
You filled me in on why you had to leave
Things won’t ever go back to how they used to be
Honestly, I’m just glad you care about me
