Ocean That Loves The Moon
There you are shining in the cold dark night sky
When you disappear in the blinding light of the sun I wave goodbye
Even when your gone i feel myself getting pulled towards you
Not having you turns me a deep blue
You’re just within sight
You lead me with your breathtaking light
Yet you stay so far away
Without you my days are a stormy grey
Not being with cause me grief
Just like the destruction of my reef
You took my heart like a thief
I want to be with you even if it’s brief
I wish that one day you’d be by my side
My heart rages like a riptide
I always have you in my mind
Like the treasure I hide from mankind
