Darker Days

You have been living in darker days
Can't look far because of the smoky haze
At night you can't look at the stars
The moon barely glows from afar
When you can't see your listening
Faint noises will have you wishing
You wish the days would be like it used to be
When you were happy and free
You realize it won't be like that for a while
Think of the memories and start to smile
Look out the dark windows and gaze
You have been living in darker days
