Where i'm from

I'm from the 502 where all we knew was shoot

Where all we knew was if u want it go get it

It was hard growing up in the places i grew up in

But when u made a mistake u learned from it

I'm from stay to yourself and trust nobody

Not even your family

Even your closest friends will turn they back on you

I'm from staying low and don't tell nobody your business

Cuz when one person finds out everybody knows and that makes you a target

And if your a target that makes everything 10x worse

I'm from only trusting 4 people with my life

I’m from growing up different acting different

Reacting different i’m from showing my wrong but not hiding my right

I’m from losing the people that better me

And pushing away the people that bring me down

I’m from thuggin by myself watching junkies shoot up with a needle

I’m from watching people od cuz they chose to go down that road

I’m from trying to better myself

I’m from praying that God won’t take my life every night
