Mid-Terms

It's a long winter day,

Switching classes every 45 minutes,

Watching as the clock ticks and ticks and ticks.

Tired of hearing the lectures,

Drama that spreads throughout the crowd of people,

The annoying voices.

As the homework piles so does the stress,

Staying after school in the library,

Turning my C’s to B’s.

The sleepless nights,

Studying and studying for tests,

Let's all celebrate for midterms.

It's the last day before break,

The relief is finally over,

Untill…..

My name is Victoria and I go to High School in Louisville, KY, I am a sophomore. The reason of this poem that i have wrote was that this is our final week beofre winter break and the stress is piling up and im just ready for these mid-terms to be over.
