The World Anew
Most of the old world is withered and broken
Without our care and attention it returns to the land
Earth covers the history so it is no longer in view
The forest returns on the wings of birds
Flying over the abandoned scape into the city
Past the city hub and over the once bustling bridges
New vines claim to replace the tired wires of the bridges
Hidden away in their rusty homes, broken
but not yet faded away by the green city
Old buildings, and transportation, dotted like skeletons across the land,
have been turned to homes for the birds
Delivering a hopeful scene within the city to view
From here I can see the fallen city broken, through a glassy spectacle view
Nature being reborn through bridges of new hope, spanning across the land
Foreign birds fanning the heart of the city
