Beechwood Road
An angel is watching over this place
That many people call home.
The red handle on the white mailbox is down,
Indicating that the mailman hasn’t arrived yet.
A nest is found inside a street light that belongs to someone,
It belongs to that bird and they are being guarded by the eagle on top.
That too is their home.
The sound of the water fountain and it hitting the other body of water
Is the only thing you hear.
The sky is as blue as a car getting out of a car wash,
And the leaves on the trees are filled with color.
Crowds of geese are on the large patches of grass,
But they aren’t honking like they usually do,
They too are listening to that same water fountain.
Not a car on the road, they are all in their driveway,
They too need rest and a taste of home.

Had to do this in class and my teacher decided to go outside and take pictures. We took pictures and I tried to compile some of those pictures into one poem. I ended up taking a lot of pictures but it helped a lot with setting up the scene.
