i lay in a tangle of blankets my mind spins thoughts
i taste every drop of saliva i swallow every millimeter of white paper
im spiraling down kaleidoscopes wave in and out of view my pupils
dilate impossibly bright i know the trees all intertwine
but i'm gonna live like only you and i exist all this sweat
right where we f*** maybe use a little tongue maybe
tell the walls to stop moving so quickly relationships that aren’t defined
genuinely piss me off see how much i don’t care we have
a “thing” only you and one other & i worry sometimes but mostly
i am happy we lay in silence speaking miles of nothing through our bodies
our neurons crank out theories we solve all life’s tragedies

*An imitation poem inspired by, “Unlimited Turbines” by Zachary Evans

The characters in the poem are both on an acid induced psycadelic trip.
