Liking a person is rather hard
9 times out of 10 they don't feel the same
asking them is like pulling a card
you never know until the answer's in your hand
If everyone would take a little risk
there would be less heart break
less chance to get too much bliss
less time to get to attatched
some people don't give others a deeper look
some people prefer to give up after the first try
I prefer to catch them on a hook
and not give up until I've realed the catch in
sometimes the results might not be to great
but don't get let down
it's all fate, and you took a great leap of faith
to say what was in your heart
you may not understand why
they said what they did
but just walk on by
and raise your head to the sky
cause you deserve better
because you are better
and they never seemed to realize, ever
