From the moment you are born you begin to run,

And it begins to walk,

Sometimes you will rest,

But it will not,

Soon it will take you but its hands are not harsh and cold,

They are gentle and warm,

How are they warm?

Why would you have run?

Because you thought they would be cold?

It came at you with a patient walk,

But you did not,

So you had to rest,

You had to rest

For too long, you must give in to the warm,

Because it will not,

It will not run,

All you had to do was walk,

You’re the one that was cold,

They were never cold,

They watched you grab your chest in pain while you rest,

And hated that they had to walk,

They wanted to make you warm,

So please don’t run,

Because it will not,

It can not,

Why did you have to be so cold?

It so wanted to run,

To stop you having to rest,

They wanted to wrap you in their arms and make you warm,

But they had to walk,

But now they don’t have to walk,

Because you will not,

Soon you will be warm,

And you will realize that you were the one that was cold,

You will wish all those times you rest

Had been just a little longer, you will regret that you had run,

Just stop your run,

Take a long rest,

Trust me it was never cold
