Thigh Gap

I’m not lazy in fact I work too hard
I’m too in my head to explain
Because of my shape I’m on guard
It’s not my fault I’m built a freight train
My jeans rub when I walk
I have few pants due to the abuse
I hate how the other girls talk
My body gets the ugly blues

I wrote this for a book with a series of poems. I feel that a lot of girls feel bad that they aren't what the world wants, and I want to show that just because you don't have a thigh gap, doesn't mean you aren't important.
