Walking through the night all alone,

Going down the streets unknown.

Couples together in the city of love

With the Eiffel Tower towering above.

As I wander the streets during this starry night,

The moon shines down on me like a spotlight.

I roam past a fancy café

Shutting down for the day.

I scurry up the fire escape

Looking for a place to see the beautiful landscape.

I finally make it up to the rooftop.

I can see everything, like I am standing on a hilltop.

Driving home from their occupations,

Everyone goes to different locations.

And I just sit here, watching the moon rise,

Waiting for tomorrow to be a new surprise.
