3/5th's of You
Just because my skin tone is darker than yours I'm not equal to you. I'm not the same as you , I'm only worth 3/5th's of you. Just because I am darker than you I am suddendly now your property and I now belong to you. I'm losing blood and tears because of you, because I'm trying to prove that I'm equal to you. Your whip is now stained with my blood and every lash I take will leave a gash on my back that's going to be a permanent scar. We are different on the exterior, and you're destrorying my exterior because I am inferior , because of your skin you are my superior, and in reality we are all the same on the interior. I'm not good enough for you. I do your dirty work because you're cleaner than me and I'm closer to hell than you. I'm starved because of you because I'm not good enough to eat proper food with you. I get your scraps that are not wanted, I'm treated worse than a dog by you. Again I'm only worth 3/5th's of you, and I'm not even good enough to be the dirt on the bottom of your shoe. Once again we are different on the exterior, and you're destroying my exterior because I am inferior , because of your skin you are my superior , and in reality we are all the same on the interior.
