Anxiety
My mind can’t think
I try my best but thoughts shutdown
I can’t find my missing link
I can hear the water drop off the sink
The atmosphere is as silent as a ghost town
My mind can’t think
I try my best to breathe and blink
The walls are closing in and around
I can’t find my missing link
My face is rosey pink
Tears are making me drown
My mind can’t think
My sweater is as soft as a mink
Mind as blank as a wedding gown
My mind can’t think
Tears bleed through like ink
My thoughts weigh on my head like a crown
My mind can’t think
I can’t find my missing link
