Fire
I had a dream the other day
I stood in a redforest and watched the children play
They danced with the food and climbed up the trees
And we had not to worry about them falling on there knees
I had never seen them as hungry as this
For when we began it was all bliss
They crackled and called all through the night
But soon dimmed to a low light
I soothed them all the way down
But by this time almost all were gone
I nelt next to one of the last
It seemed almost time for them to pass
I could not touch them for I would get burned
But all mothers knew that, we all had learned
I will see you again friend
For we must all come to an end.
But then I woke and began to say
This was all a dream I had the other day

Lately, I’ve beeen struggling a lot with the idea of death after seeing my friend almost die in a motorcycle accident. But I soon realized that death is something I must come to terms with. All living things must face it, and even some other things, such as fire.
