Every Tear
was full of
remorse
seeing the casket
couldn’t look inside
too much pain
standing in a circle
heaving sobs
quaking our insides
too much
pain
every tear
is in remembrance
of what we did
together
of what
we should have
done
what i took
for granted
among the icy stares of the
statues
and dead grass
we lay the most fresh
flowers
and wait
for the box to sink
six feet
under
can’t watch
can’t think of it
as her
too
much
pain
