Wistful thinking at its best,
Backspace, one, two, three.
Fingers frozen in their tracks,
Whilst moments waste away,
Yet from my chest the faintest cry,
My heart, a castaway.
Wonder if in moments near,
My thoughts reach far beyond,
And shared with me, a bond so free,
Then shouldn’t you respond?
So tap, tick, snap, click,
