looking around the room

looking around the room
I glance around the room,
All the voices going “ boom.”
My eyes bounce around all over place,
Confusion written all over my face.
While chewing on my fork;
I watch as everyone else does their work,
Words jump out at me,
Words like be, and see.
I’m gazing out the door;
In my peripheral, I see the floor.
The sun is blazing
As i’m gazing,
And I have to look away
To keep the salty tears at bay.
