Orange Heart
An hour glass that slowly moves
As grains of sand run thin,
Despite emotions that may continue
This orange heart settles in.
Lack of worry matches your eyes
And your heart to match your furr,
I beg you to defeat time
This orange heart strikes nerves.
Soon life will have passed its peak
And for that I don’t mind,
Although I lied through my teeth
This orange heart will be just fine.
