Life Is Too Short
When I was in ninth grade, I met a
girl named Megan. She was in my
 Geography class. Most of you
didn't know her but those of you
who did already know what I'm
 about to write.

As time went on, we became
friends. I even met her at Wal-
mart one time. About a year after
we first met, I was at church. My
 Preacher announced that Megan and
both her parents died. She was 15.

 They were driving to Frankfort
during a storm. But there was so
much water on the road that the car
 Hydroplaned. They lost control of
 the car and crashed.

She was not only my best friend
but she was my only friend. We
even went out for pizza one time.
 Her Mother taught my Geography
class(The same class I shared with
 Megan.)

I can't begin to tell you
how sad it is to lose the first
 friend you ever had, especially
when she was only fifteen years
 old. Words do no justice.

Now, a year after her death,
writing this still brings me to
tears. We all think that we will
live to be one hundred, few of us
actually live that long. But even
those who do will tell you that
 life is too short.
