Hello there,

I'm the ghost that lives in your head,

Who drives away all the angles under your bed.

I've started to o help you feel nothing at the most miraculous times,

But at 3AM when you're at your worst, I make you feel everything in rhymes.

You can hear anything from your brain,

Maybe that's what drives you insane?

You can't hear what I have to say, yet you overthink about everything,

Gathering all your thoughts is like getting a monkey to sing.

The insanity can drive anyone else away,

But if their insane they might as well obey.

If you're going to love someone who's insane,

You have to learn how to live in their domain.

Because if you walk into their house, it's not going to be spotless,

The host if insanity only has time to clean their brain, flawless.

Don't try to understand insanity,

Their selves are nothing but the opposite of vanity.

Honestly the insanity always keeps them laughing,

But their other nightly demons keep them gasping.

Insanity is the exact opposite of normal,

But just because you classify as insane doesn't make you immortal.

The norms wouldn't be able to bear,

Normal people think insanity needs a sign that says beware.

Insanity can come with a choice,

But once you you accept it, it's your only voice.

You can let it control your life…

Or if you let it kill your mind and destroy your heart, with a knife.

Don't try to understand insanity,

Because it's to far from humanity.

Hello, I am a 14 year old girl who loves to write poetry and draw/sketch. I wrote this poem based off of what I know from one of my friends, who classifies himself as insane.
