This poem is about my old life and letting go of the old me. I used to live in the past and regret mistakes I had made, but soon realized that dwelling on past events won't do any good. I spent so much time wishing I could go back and do things over again, but that only made me feel worse. You have to forgive yourself and move on. You can't go back, so why look back? Why not look ahead? Why not move forward, excited for the future and what great things it holds?
