Down By the Willow Tree
Down by the willow trees,
Where the nights are as cold as snow
Down by your feet,
where the despair feels like arrows and bows
Down by the willow tree,
It may seem sad,
That everyone that comes down there,
always meets their end
The willow tree and others
Always seek for newcomers to bed
Because once the sadness overwelms them
the tree's voice will never stop echoing in your head
I once went to the willow trees
On a dark and sad night to be,
I stayed there for a few days,
No water or food to sustain me.
Down by the willow tree,
You'll always end up walking to,
And sometimes people give in,
And hang off a branch or two
Even if you pop some pills,
The voice always comes back
Leading you to ruin,
And darkness and days of black
