Waking up Christmas morning & looking outside.

Looking through the icy window,

Seeing that snow was a blanket to the grass,

& was as white as a polar bear.

The smell of pine starts wafting through the house.

Remembering where it’s coming from you

Hop out of bed & run to the tree.

Sprinting as fast as a reindeer flying through the sky

& waking everyone in your way.

You wait for your family,

Letting the excitement build up inside.

It feels like 10 years, but they finally arrive.

Opening up your presents with your siblings next to you,

Watching the wrapping paper fly across the whole room.

Seeing the joy fall across your family’s face,

Knowing that this is something you’ll never forget.

After finishing up you make hot chocolate.

You put on The Grinch, then start to cuddle up.

By then you think to yourself,

What could get better than this?
