Masked Love
As you sit in the night
All you can see in sight
Is the black light
Laying in bed with a broken heart
Feeling empty
I could finally see through his mask
His words were true but his heart was not
The two-faced boy
Why did I force love for him
If he wasn’t fulfilling my heart
With the love I needed?
Bitter-black tears
Stained my cheek with broken memories
The bad boy snatched away all the good girl
Confused relationship, broken bond
Faded

This piece is about my bad past relationship. The hardships still continue to effect me to this day. Writing about it helps me get through it and helps me get a lot of pieces to the puzzle that were or might have been missing from before. It was blinded love to me, I didn't feel the same way he felt about me but I felt tied down and like I was trapped.
