The Trampoline
My Mom is the mat
that launches me to my goals.
My Dad is the springs
that support the main part
But can get rusty over time.
My brother is the silly little kid
who always jumps at you
but you love anyways
and throw up higher than you.
My uncle is the big guy that gives you
a giant bounce to help
I am the bouncer
bouncing off
of all the parts to reach the sky
and beyond.
My dog was the net that ripped
and hasn't been replaced yet,
and all the other parts, is all of us
keeping each other in check
and motivating each other
to do amazing things like you
the one reading this poem.
