MY FAMILY IS A CANDLE

My dad is the jar, the strong protector
Of everything within.
My mom is the wick, loving, strong, caring
But can get badly burned.
My little brother is the flame
Silly, fun, energetic.
And me, the wax.... the base, caring loving, weak and venerable,
That sooner or later melts. But is renewed by morning.
