A Lost Childhood
unknownly we marched,
not a soul not tired,
unaware of what was to come,
Packed like boxes on a train we rode,
The stars on our clothes weighed us down,
people diverted their eyes,
big mean men yelled,
I lost my childhood,
others lost their life,
we worked all day,
starved all night,
we watched people disappear,
I watched my family disappear,
Then the suffering ended for me,
I reunited with my family,
no more tears,
no more pain,
we found peace,
we found love,
we found heaven.
