We were lovers,
Lovers and friends.
Those to don't mix and
Us two won't mend.
I like you a lot, honest and true,
But where I'm headed,
I can't see myself with you.
I never know what to do
Because nothing's never enough for you.
You say that I'm cute, is it a joke
Cause I think you are too, and that's not a hoax.
I wish I was a boat,
So that I could float,
Because you told me not to have hope.
I like you a lot, I really do,
But obviously this isn't how I should feel about you.
