I have no idea why I remember them

And the numerous amounts of smiles shared.

Is it because his eyes would become glossy,

When seeing how the other cared?

On the coldest days they stood nice and warm.

I strode shaking fiercely beside.

White breaths soon grossly engulfed in black caves,

Not minding those that boldly eyed.

Tattered my heart becomes

As I stay his friend

I sparkle as I hide away

The emptiness on my end.

Currently I sit upon a pile of dust

Withering away at my useless thoughts.

My desire to seek for a partner is eradicated

Love is not worth being sought.

Passing the slightly fond memory,

I sigh and look to the foggy world that surrounds

I may not have a friend or lover,

And in time, they may never be found.

When seeing others accompanied, it makes you feel more alone.
