Face Plant

Life is like a face plant
In the long jump sand pit.
If you go forward too fast,
And you try to stop suddenly,
You get a face full of sand.
As you are going forward,
You build up momentum
With each step you take.
When you jump forward,
If you don’t move just right,
You’ll be over taken by the momentum
And land on your face.
Life is the same way,
If you’re running along
And having an easy time,
Soon a road block will come up
And you’ll trip and land on your face.
