Favorite Quote:
"No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea, Europe is the less, as well as if a promontory were, as well as if a manor of thy friend's or of thine own were: any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bells tolls; it tolls for thee."

In my bed I silently weep,
until at last I fall asleep.
All the time it seems,
i'm only happy in my dreams.
Not wanting to I wake up,
full of disgust I throw up.
At school my classmates point and sneer,
I hear them whisper, "the ugly duck is here".
Some approche me from the back,
when we're alone they attack.
They punch and kick and pull my hair,
one gives me a hard shove down the stair.
Something's broken, something's wrong,
I cry out as the school bell gongs.
My teachers lie when they call me a pearl,
cause no one loves the ugly girl.

The author's comments:

I felt like writing about pain and while I have been bullied in the past, it has never been as bad as what is described in the poem so do not worry.
