Everybody lies to me...
They say that they care
But they aren't the ones who see...
Their hate and their stares
Everybody lies to me…
They say it's all okay
But they aren't the ones who see…
My struggles every day
Everybody lies to me…
They say I am strong
But they aren't the ones who see…
How often I just play along
Everybody lies to me…
They say i'll get better
But they aren't the ones who see…
The scars under my sweater
Everybody lies to me…
They say I don't need to be alone
But they aren't the ones who see…
How often I am crying on my own
Everybody lies to me…
They say I won't be sad forever
But they aren't the ones who see…
That being happy is an endless endeavor
