The News
It was a cold foggy friday day back in the sixth grade. I was at outdoor lab and it was the day that we all went home. I was very excited to leave because I missed my family so much. But when I got off the bus and discoved that it was only my dad waiting to take me home, I knew something was wrong. The first thing I said was ,"where is mom?" My father told me that she was at the hospital with my grandparents and then I asked, "what was wrong?" I can remember the pain and sorrow I saw in my dads eyes and he said, "Honey, your Lita has cancer..."
