Worst Flying Fear
Michoacan Mexico August 29th, 2016 in Uruapan airport it was around 10:30pm when or flight got there full of people. It was was normal day so far with a good bit of rain and lightning, nothing a airbus A320 can’t handle.
11:00pm I got aboard the plane and all was good we had 20 minutes before the plan would start to make its way to the runway. I was on my phone listening to some drake to relieve the boredom.
“Excuse me” “huh” I looked up and seen a girl around my age asking for some help with her bags I have to admit she was short so i stood up and helped her with her bags. In addition she was sitting next to me seat 24E I was in in seat 24D next to the window. Time was slowly ticking by it was finally 11:20 and the plane a Volaris mexican airliner was all ready for its hopefully easy flight and then the pilot came on and was introducing himself and told us that we are in runway 5 the only runway in the little airport by the way.
11:30pm safety video was over and now we are lined up on the runway and “BAM” in less than a second the plane rapidly speed up to about 180 mph. As usual the nose of the airliner started to pick up and the back started to go backwards. “You alright” I looked at the girl she was scared she was woken up by the movement of the plane”no” she responded so i asked her “Is this your first flight” “Yeah” she answered my question quickly.
11:45pm the oversized bus entered hell lightning lit up the whole cabin through all 80 windows and hail hitting the plane in any way it can every flash of light you can see the rain and hail flying rapidly by the airbus sides. The girl was horrified and was at this point hugging my arm and was hugging it with all her strength “It’ll be ok trust me” I told her and she got calm ,my heart was pounding on my chest waiting to jump out.
11:55pm hell was exploding outside the volaris airline. the flight attendant was in her seat that's when i got scared I have never in my life seen a flight attendant in her seat crying, that me nervous. The girl next to me was crying and hugging my arm griped harder and right when I was gonna tell her it will be ok the seat belt signal came on and our flight made a quick violent 90 degree turn and once we had the two rolls royce engines powered up and was not moving as violent as before due to the extra thrust. I looked out of my window and the best feeling in the world u can feel after going through hell in a 251 ton jet
“Ding ding“ pilot came on and told us to put our seat belts on and that we are to minutes away and are about to land the girl next to me had gone to sleep, i didn't r I seen the ground and I had the best feeling ever 10 more minutes and that tires touched earth and that woke the girl up .moments later we got up our seats and the girl hugged me and gave me her facebook and thnked me for making her flight a good flight and i got her bag and I got out the plane.
The only thing I remember is I looked out the glass window to the plane and seen the front glass broken and amd barely hanging on the the paint job was gone it was all white and dented.
All in all have to face your fears and you have to beat them and yeah you may feel like dieing but after that yeah I’m scared but I’m still getting on a plane again and going to see my family in mexico “let nothing stop you”.
