Start out in Omaha, Nebraska. 

 

Live out most of your embarrassing kid moments here. Spill some Kool-Aid on the new, white carpet. Feel bad, then dump water on it. Make carpet Kool-Aid. Blame it on your 2 older sisters. Have fun with them. Get them in trouble for something you did. Slide down the stairs on a mattress, get hurt. Own a Furbie. Get scared of the Furbie. Bury the Furbie in the backyard. Move when you turn 7. Go to a new school 5 miles away. Start 3rd grade in a different town.  Make friends. Make enemies. Grow up. Hate your new school. Get a best friend. Fight. Lose touch. Go to middle school. Make a new best friend. Get interested in boys. Date a few. Go to high school. Stop being close with your best friend. Be the new girl. Dye your hair a fun color. Get made fun of,  get hit on. Talk to the boy in your biology class. Date him. Find out he cheated on you with your friend. Break up. Get closer with your other friends. Dump your friends that aren't really your friends. Find your place. Date the other boy in your biology class. Fall for him. Lose more friendships. Learn what its like to have a dysfunctional family. Yell at your parents. Feel bad. Lose a parent. Cry. Become closer with the remaining parent. Move around. Lose your job at your family's business. Shut down the business. Cry again. Be grateful for your boyfriend. Get in a fight. Get an assault charge. Go on diversion to get the charge dropped. Go to therapy to deal with the loss of your father. Cry more. Appreciate what you've got. Have a falling out with another friend. Spend more time with your family. Go through sophomore and junior year. Stay with your freshman year boyfriend. Fall even more in love with him. Let him know your weaknesses. Get a promise ring.   Stay the night at his house. Sneak out together on summer nights. Tell him you love him. Get a memorial tattoo for your father. Love it. Let it heal. Use the wrong lotion for it. Want more. Finally get your license. Get your first car. Let it die on you 2 days later. Get your first truck. Let it die after a month. Get your third car. Hope it works. Get excited when it lasts longer than a month. Start your senior year. Get scared about everything. Remember your last 3 years of high school. Remember this is your last year. Cry some more. Become friends with someone you hated.  Get close. Realize you have more in common than you thought. Stress out over college.  Fight with your mother. Apologize to your mother. Go to your last homecoming ever with your boyfriend. Go on an expensive date. Go to your first trip together to Worlds of Fun. Talk your sister into getting another dog. Take hers. Fall in love with your dog. Learn what unconditional love is. Learn responsibility. Keep growing up. Get a first job. Quit after a week. Be upset and disappointed in yourself. Apologize to your mom. Hide it from your sister. Turn 18. Feel old. Feel the anticipation for graduation. Get scared. Put off looking for prom dresses. Spend your money on Applebee's dates with your friends. See all the latest movies. Cry in a movie theater. Laugh in the  theater. But don’t, make a scene. Lose your best friend from 7th grade to her boyfriend. Cry again. Pick fights with your friends when you're upset. Say sorry. Hug it out. Find something fun to do together. Learn that your mom and sister have to move away. Try to find a home for your dog. Fail at finding a home for her. Let your family take her with. Stay the night with them one last time. Move out and in with your boyfriend. Say your tearful goodbyes. Watch your boyfriend tear up because he knows you're upset. Fall even more in love with him. Appreciate what's around you more and more every day. Say thank you. Say you're welcome. Use your manners. Miss your mom, sister and dog. Cry when you get pictures sent to you of your dog. Keep your dogs name tag on your keys. Put pictures up. Get antsy for spring break because you can go see your family. Invite your boyfriend. Get him excited. Find a rental car. Try your best to get through school. Get super stressed out about graduation and the trip. Have your awesome boyfriend talk you through your anxiety. Be happy again. Keep growing up. Realize how close you are to graduating high school and get upset again. Reminisce about your past years. Say goodbye to your old friends you lost touch with. Pass all your classes. Walk across that stage. Say goodbye. Goodbye to high school. Goodbye to being young. Goodbye to Omaha. Hello, to Denver, Colorado.
