The Wonders of Yosemite

The cool breeze was blowing against my hair, sending it in all different directions. My shadow was falling on the rich golden meadow beneath my feet, which was so beautiful, the sun shining against it. I was trying to stay on the path that had been already made, just like I had been told, but I had to resist the temptation to just stray away from it. I kept walking on the pre-made path, and it felt real nice to walk all by myself, with no company. Or at least just once in a while. I mean, I liked my friends and all, but sometimes what a person needs is simply some time to their self. After a few minutes of the spirit walk, I realized that my feet were aching from the hike we did that day. But I paid no heed to it, thinking that the walk was worth it. Suddenly, all these random thoughts somehow found their way into my brain, and I shook them away, because I wanted this walk to be peaceful, with no thoughts bothering me. I glanced up at the sky, and I couldn’t believe my eyes. It was one of the most beautiful sights I had ever seen. I whipped out my camera from the pocket of my thick winter jacket, and took many pictures. The sky, filled with clumps of wispy thin clouds, the sun peeking out from behind them. The rocky mountains had green and white splotches, which were covering parts of it. The rich dark green trees, with bare plain trees in front of them. It was just absolutely beautiful. I kept walking, and I was getting closer to the mountains. The path was windy, and my eyes were admiring the beauty of the whole setting. I felt like I was inside of a picture, because everything looked so perfect. I wish I could experience this feeling more often. I looked ahead, and in relief, I found my friend a few feet away. Thankfully, I hadn’t got lost! After what seemed like 5 minutes, I finally reached the end of the spirit walk. As I walked the last few steps of the spirit walk, I got to another beautiful place. The beach was ahead of me. There were trees behind a teal colored river, the trees reflection on it. Finally, I sat down by myself, on a sandy spot, and just pondered for a while about the wonders of Yosemite.

I went to Yosemite National Park and loved it there. I really enjoyed and admired the beautiful scenery, and so I decided I would write about my experience.
