I was in the competition of the year the freshmen vs seniors. Not really we were just little premature sixth graders going against the golden children of eighth grade. That didn’t change the stakes it was for a pizza party yes it was childish, but the victory was mainly what I wanted. We worked so hard for a chance to win we were cramming all of the sixth grade social studies book we can get our hands on. We even studied for breakfast even after school I guess the watery sweat on our foreheads showed we was getting something done. The other grade were against us even the some sixth graders say we wouldn’t make it past the trials. Even though that was an easy success, and the donuts we had to show our victory made it even more savory. Now we were at the circle tables waiting for the competition to start, and going over who knew more or who can ring the buzzer faster. While the golden children was sitting there laughing, and telling their friends this was the easiest thing to do. We nervously waited until the judge told us we can start. We dash to the buzzer, but an eighth grader  made it to it before us. Our heart like it was blazing in the sun. We all waited for the eighth grader to give an answer, but he remain silent in time he said nothing as if his tongue vanish after he ring the buzzer, then the answer was passed to us. As we scramble who was going to answer we finally elected someone to and we got it right. The competition felt intense, but honestly I was having too much fun with friends I quizzed for a month. By the end of the last question we knew we won after I answer the last question  I waited to see if I got it right. The audience were silent waiting for the judge to speak a word. As she smiled I knew I got it right. The crowd roared for our victory we shook the hands of the golden children and it was nice to have work so hard and achieve your goal. While we walk to our class the group of the clumsy sixth grader everyone greeted us in the hallway  with claps this made me feel proud.

Our class was making a spanish taqueria for hispanic heritage month. Our ideas were good, but it seemed to be a total opposites of idea and it made the restaurant look like the aftermath of a nuclear bomb war . We spied on other classrooms to see if we weren't the only ones with a wasteland of massive disaster. They were almost finish and they had all of these unique amazing designs. Even though we thought we were screwed we made all our ideas come true and it was fun bonding with the class. Our restaurant won, we had  everything perfect. We had glowing stereos that seem like fireworks , a padazale disco ball that allow the brightness of our goal shine, and the food was delicious it nearly melted in your mouth while try to keep the thought of begging for seconds coming out your mind . This was day I would cherish to spend with people I cared about.

My stories tells a part of my controlling idea is about the time spend with friends but not if you won. Such things that made this conclusion is that in my second scene I describe how we had a  blast being together and creating something with all our ideas to share. In my first scene I said we were all having fun enjoying the time we all shared together and pushing ourselves to become a team but even better friends. My other part of the controlling idea is to never count yourself out of something. In my first scene we were pushing ourselves to our limits so we knew we would have a chance. Even though we began to feel anxious after time past we knew we were doing our best. In the second scene I tell of being frighten and jealous of the other classes decorations. We soon put all of our thoughts together and prove that we were better together than just one person, and exceed expectations. Many controlling ideas are in the scenes, but the main two ones I chose were friendship and proving others wrong.
That these formal bits of wisdom has taught me to never just think of winning isn,t the main purpose of working together but the bonds you create with your friends. Now I see all competitions as a way to produce friendships and experience a great time with those friends.Winning is not just about winning it about know just having memories you can cherish forever. That is how the bit of informal teaching affect how I see the world.
