A journey to a New Home
“I was feeling excited. When i came to missouri i was so excited because i didn’t have to worry about getting in trouble in school in kansas then i moved here and meet new people when i moved to independence i came to a house that didn’t smell like home it smelled like i was just visiting but i wasn’t i moved there it smelled like a new home the house had like a sweet smell to it there was lots of candles going so the house smelled like a big bag of skittles. The last time I was in Kansas I was 15 years old. It was dark outside and my mom took me to the Greyhound bus station. The bus was late so the owner took me to Kansas City, Missouri. It took three hours to get from Junction City to Independence, Missouri. My dad came and got me from the bus station.I had three suitcases full of clothes. We went home and I unpacked all my clothes went to eat dinner and came home and we went to bed. When I got too Dennys I could smell the food in the air. I can see the reflection on the windows of the servers.
From this experience I learned that you could always see your family when you move from one state to another state. Even if they are next to each other always keep in touch with your family.just stay in touch with family members.
