Everything's got a crack in it but that's how the light gets in.
It begins with a broken heart, so painful you don't know what to do with yourself. It's a disease that flows through your blood, eventually reaching every crevasse of your body. You sink within yourself, unable to crawl out of the slow darkness that cloaks you. Time passes, slowly, but perhaps mending every broken piece back together again. Every thread strung together creates a stronger bond, insuring it will be harder to shatter the next time around. Allowing some light to finally be shed through the broken heart and with that comes hope.
