La Muerte
La Muerte(1) is there waiting for all of us, a shadow waiting to devour our souls. Taking away that life and leaving everyone missing that one person with millions of unanswered questions. It tears that person out of your heart and laughs at the sight of their loved ones suffering. But, what can we do? El Diablo(2) has all control sending his sidekick La Muerte for all of us. Having no mercy on rich, poor, child, adult, father, mother, no one can hide from this hunter looking for its next target.
He invaded my family taking away one of my biggest role models, my uncle. Like most people that come from foreign countries he worked in America for a mejor vida(3) to give his family a comfortable living. My uncle never imagined that the place he saw as his new home would end up being his coffin. On November 25, 2009 La Muerte sent workers out to kill my uncle. He was working hard like every day doing as he was supposed to when three men decided it was time to do their masters job. They murdered my uncle leaving his family without even a body to cry to. Everyone could only ask, “Porque?(4) ” He was a good man he didn’t want problems with anyone but Muerte has no mercy. It ripped my uncle away from four kids leaving them to only have a gap in their hearts. This place did nothing to help him but only showed that if you’re not from here, you will have to figure things out.
Nada es para siempre. You think your life is getting better and something always comes along to show you life isn’t easy. La Muerte is a savage beast killing people to entertain himself. The day my uncle died it showed me that La Muerte is something we all have to fear in this world. No one is invisible.
