Everything Wrong
About 2 years ago, I went on a cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, and Key West, and everything that could've went wrong, went wrong. It started as most traveling starts- in security lines getting our bags checked. That lasted about 3 hours. WE finally got on the boat and thought all the bad stuff was behind us. However, thanks to our luck, we were wrong.
The first day on the boat was pretty good, spending the day at the water park on deck and in the arcade. but the fun soon ended when we got caught in a storm on the second day at sea. The boat was rocking so hard that at some points it was hard to walk. They even made the pool off-limits due to the weather.
The next day, we arrived in Key West. Again, we thought the worst was behind us. But, again, we were wrong. the temperature was at an all-time high. The whole time we were there, it was scorching hot and almost unbearable. So, to get away from the heat, we went to a little beach resort in hopes of cooling off. but even the water was practically boiling. We ended up giving up and just heading back to the boat at 5 o'clock.
The day we went to Cozumel wasn't much better. Record weather that made it feel like you were being baked in an oven. The 2 days spent on sea coming home weren't as bad, but we did hit another storm which caused a lot of passengers to become seasick. And it's not very appetizing when you're eating lunch and you see someone vomit over the side of the ship. Needless to say, we were very happy to get back home.
