Becoming a Pediatrician

 “Hi sweet heart! What's your name?”

The little child doesn't answer as she sits in silence, then  her mother takes over. Your fingers type fast to keep up with the information her mother spits out, While you mentally prepare yourself to help a family save their child. There are many benefits to being a pediatrician even though you must take many  risks and be in school for as long and your elementary school and middle school combined.

The job of a Pediatricians that Diagnose, Treat, And help stop children from getting diseases(“Pediatricians, General :: Job Requirements”). there are  many benefits As to being a pediatrician, a big pay check almost $160,000 yearly. Flexible hours, high satisfaction(“Becoming a Pediatrician: Careers, Salary Info & Job Description”),  And also many companies you can work for  like hospitals ,research facilities,academic institutes, and predicated offices(“Possible Places to Work to Be a Pediatrician”). And have collages that's tuition is under $5,000 and is a public school (“Pediatric Nurse/Nursing Colleges | Cappex.com”).

Risk, Risk, Risk
 There are also many risk and hazards of having a job as good as a pediatrician like germ physical danger,  patient concerns, difficult parents,  and legal risk. It also has many skill requirements “Active Listening — Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times. Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.


Science — Using scientific rules and methods to solve problems.
Speaking — Talking to others to convey information effectively.
Active Learning — Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.”(“Pediatricians, General :: Job Requirements”)

 

In School like a Child Again
Having many years of college it's costly and long but it all worth it in the end with almost 7-10 years of schooling   “physicians must complete an undergraduate degree, followed by 4 years of medical school and a 3-7 year internship and/or residency. The length of residency depends on specialization, which in the field of pediatrics, could reach 7 years. Afterward, a license must be obtained, as well as monitoring a child's growth and development from infancy to young adulthood.  And also in medicine that  focuses on preventing, treating, and diagnosing childhood illnesses and diseases.”(“What Education Is Required to Be a Pediatrician?”)


Overall,  being a pedican can be an amazing job. There are many benefits to being a pediatrician. Even though there are  risks like actually getting sick  and be in school for a long time. But in the ends it's all worth it!
