Falling from above
Whirling in thewind
Dancing on the street
Settling on the ground
The leaves havefallen
And winter will come soon
Plush trees will again
Shed theircolored tears
Soon the rain will come
And wash away autumn'spaint
Which streaks the streets and sidewalks
With vibrantwatercolors
Falling from the sky
Pounding against thepavement
Rushing in streams of water
Clearing the way
The rain hascome
And colorless death
Now sits upon us.
