ISIS takes prisoners but its what they do to them that is most disturbing. What ISIS does to their prisoners is they will execute them by chopping off their head if NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) doesn’t back off. In the year of 2014 an extremist group called ISIS, standing for Islamic States of Iraq and Syria, took shape as part of Al Qaeda and started to follow in their footsteps. Al Qaeda told ISIS to stop their activities in Iraq so ISIS broke off of Al Qaeda and made their own terrorist organization.
ISIS is the richest extremist group in history and the reason is oil. ISIS is using oil to control the land and NATO is trying to get rid of ISIS’ control over the oil in that area. ISIS is also getting more recruits from Turkey and they are able to sell to their oil to the Turkish government and in return the Turkish government is turning a blind eye to ISIS activity going in and out of the Turkish border, but that has not been proved.
Another way they are keeping control over the land they seize is the use fear. The way they get fear is they videotape the beheadings of captured westerners. On September 15, 2014 they beheaded a citizen of the United Kingdom and they beheaded two American citizens a few weeks earlier. This beheading is the third execution in less than a month and they still have many western prisoners that they will most likely execute unless we get rid of this problem now.
