My four-legged surprise

I remember when I was just five years old, I have always been afraid of dogs even the little ones. My mom would always tell me theirs nothing to afraid of, they are as afraid of you as you are of them. Which means that they can sense your fear they act on it. I cannot remember how many dogs I have ran from and I don't think I want to remember.I guess it's because I have never had one of my own.

When I was around thirteen years, old My mother and I moved to Georgia, I was so sacred I did not want to leave my friends behind, but my mom said, I would meet new ones.I was not moving alone my sisters and my older bother was moving with me, so I had nothing to worry about. But I always felt like I was alone, I had no friends to come along and keep me company along the way. All I could think about was crawling up into a ball of shame and forgetting about my returning to a place were I had no friends but my cousins to embrace me when I arrive. My mother had told me that we were going to be staying with my uncle until our place was set up.

I was very excited to see my uncle it had been years since I had last seen him. My uncle Ben had been in the military for half of his life. He had severed in the army for quite some time. I was very thrilled to here that we were going to be bunking with him. It was such a long ride I had never felt so uncomfortable in my life, the twist and turns of the roads. The car was very itchy and hot like a metal can being burned at 30,000 degrees calvin. I can still see my sisters in the back saying scoot over big head.

My mother was never that good with directions. Which made the ride longer with all the turning around and going back. It was very nerve racking like nails on a chalk board.considering the fact that we had be on the road for at least 12 hours straight, no breaks, my mom said. I can remember asking my mother to pull over and let me stretch my legs. Finally I woke up from a hot catatonic stat of sleep and my mother said we're here.

I see my uncle standing 6,7 feet tall I gasped for air, as he gripped me up to give me a giant bear hug. I walk into the house to greet my cousins. Hugged my cousin Brianna first the my cousin Jeremiah then Seine. they asked me if I wanted to see the rest of the house. I said yes, trying to clinch the rest of air I had left from all of the excitement of seeing them; as I walked down the hallway I heard something barking I said to my self oh no, it can't be, oh God!! , I opened the door and a great big dog rushed out of the room like a bat out of hell. He was a golden retriever mixed with a Parines, he was as golden as the sun glistening in the light like a sun set glowing across the ocean. He starred rite into to my eyes as I gripped a hand full of air from my clasped lungs he ran up to me and licked me on the face. I felt safe he liked me, I had nothing to be afraid of anymore, he knew I was scared, that why he reacted that way. After that day I was never scared of dogs anymore.
